I am saddened to hear of Bradley's death, but joyful that he found such happiness in his last years.

Hello Brad

Just wanted to say hello and that you have a lovely family. I always thought of leaving the states but never did. We need to touch bases on where our genealogy intertwined as to who is who and all. Your site is great and the place sounds as if it is a paradise made for you.

You have a great day and God Bless you all.

Thank you for a treasured walk down memory lane. I enjoyed remembering much of what you wrote, especially the kindnesses of Grandma, Grandpa, and you. Your life is so admirable. Thank you for your huge sacrifices and service to family and country. Your wife and children are beautiful. You look so happy and content. I wish you the very best. May God bless and keep you and yours. Love.

Been a big fan of the Philippine culture since I was stationed at Sangley Point in the 60's. Was married to the mother of my beautiful daughters from Cavite. Now divorced from her years ago.(still friends) After a checkered mid-life, now married to a lovely filipina and living in Pensacola Florida. Considering possibly relocating to the Philippines. Never will forget walking out the gate at Sangley into Cavite City for the first time.. Hundreds of beautiful little brown girls and they ALL wanted ME !! Fell in love with the P.I. and never got over it !! Flying over the country-side as part of my duty with Patrol Squadron 40 at Sangley, I thought it was the most beautiful place in the world !! Thanks for a great site !

I enjoyed reading about your story in your life. I married my wife from Gingoog city gear Cagayan de Oro about six years ago. She came with a eight month old baby daughter who is now seven years old and the joy of our life. We are living in Arkansas and I have three years of teaching at my university until I am able to retire with medical benefits. We have since moved her family to Camiguin Island and they are now operating a bakery there. We have given serious thought to moving to that location as soon as retirement is possible. I have been the same resorts that you have and enjoyed several stays in Cagayan de Oro.. I under understand a lot of things have changed in the three years since I have been there. Do you find that it is still a relatively safe place to live? I personally had no problems and for the most part enjoyed the Filipino culture. Good luck to you and yours. It sounds like you are enjoying a well-deserved life with your lovely family. Hope to check out of this rat race soon and go somewhere where getting mail is unheard of and the air is clean and the breeze is warm and the sunsets are glorious. I may never turn on tv again.
Potter from Arkansas.

Hi Brad, Long time no see and nice to see you here. As I look at your pictures I know you are happy. I'm proud that you choose Cag. de Oro over US. I've been in the US many times already and see different part of the US but still I prefer here in the Phils. I am now the president of the rotary club that once you are a member. Give my regards to Chielo and you have good looking children. See you someday.

Brad, I am sorry that you have had so much trouble surrounding your Vietnam service and am glad that you are better now. My husband was not in Vietnam, but stationed in Turkey. Even though he was not in combat, he had some of your same feelings about the treatment he received when he came home. I know this is belated, but thank you for your service.
